The film stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried and is being directed by Oscar winner Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech) The film tells the story of Jean Valjean, a former prisoner who becomes mayor of a town in France. Mandalay Vision and Vertigo Entertainment are in early talks with Ryan Reynolds to star in The Voices , a psychological thriller that will be directed by Marjane Satrapi from a script by Paranormal Activity’s Michael R. Perry. The script made the Black List, and Satrapi got an Oscar nom for Best Animated Feature for her first film Persepolis , adapted from her semi-autobiographical novel. Mandalay Vision is financing the film, and with Mandalay Vision’s Matthew Rhodes and Cathy Schulman are producing with Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Mandalay Senior Vice President Adam Stone. The film begins production early next year. Reynolds is in talks to play Jerry Hickfang, a lovable but strange bathtub factory worker who yearns for the attention of a woman in accounting. After Joe Johnston's Jurassic Park III in 2001, there was meant to be, at some point, a Jurassic Park IV . Scripts were offered to Spielberg and then rejected numerous times, with William Monahan and John Sayles' effort working on the idea of dinosaurs-on-the-mainland combined with human/dinosaur hybrid soldiers that could use guns and carry out simple tasks. Now artwork has surfaced online that reportedly originates with ILM's Andrew Cawrse and concept artist Carlos Huante, revealing just how far down the pipeline this pretty outrageous idea went. Complete with warped film, a slightly shonky sound quality and a superfast voiceover, it's designed to transport viewers back to 1982, the year when Felix-it Felix Jr. and Wreck-It Ralph were the coolest thing in arcade gaming. 20th Century Fox Animation and Ice Age makers Blue Sky Studios will turn Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock and the whole Peanuts gang into an animated feature film franchise. Fox has closed a deal for rights to turn the strip by the late Charles Schulz into a film that has already been set for release on November 25, 2015.
