We've seen several images of the main heroes in Justice League , but thus far Mera, queen of Atlantis (played by Amber Heard ), has been more of a mystery. That changes today, as IGN has nabbed a look at the queen as she appears in the movie, along with a costume sketch and concept art that show how her look evolved. See all the images after the Jump... Mera in the comic book love interest of Jason Momoa's Aquaman and the ruler of Atlantis (or future queen in some titles). She first appeared in the DC canon in 1963 and she has powers of her own, including the ability to control water. What she'll be doing in the movie is anyone's guess at this point, but she's Aquaman's wife and will be part of the action. Justice League recently wrapped shooting in London, and director Zack Snyder is currently in post-production to get the film ready for its 17 November, 2017 release date. Robert Rodriguez has come aboard the adventure project, an adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, which has been dormant for the past several years. Moving the Warner Bros. adventure along is Terry Rossio, whose credits range from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies to The Mask of Zorro. Rodriguez and Rossio are rewriting the script initially penned by Dan Mazeau, with Rodriguez on board to direct. Dan Lin and Adrian Askarieh are producing. After testing actors over the past couple of weeks, Warner Bros. and DC have tapped theater actor Ray Fisher for the role of Cyborg in the untitled Batman-Superman pic. Victor Stone or Cyborg , while not a major part in the Batman-Superman feature, is a member of the Justice League, and the role will become much more significant role as Warner and DC develop more films related to the Justice League universe, sources confirm. Warner Bros. had no comment on this story. Fisher joins the Batman-Superman cast that includes Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams .
