FROZEN 2 Going To Happen Accorrding To Idina Menzel

It’s the sort of news that might make you bellow “well, of course it is!”, but given that Disney has yet to make any sort of official announcement about a sequel to Frozen, we suppose the word of the woman who voiced Elsa is something. According to Idina Menzel , the Mouse House really does have a sequel to the mammoth hit in development. So far, the company has largely used the property to spin off lines of merchandise, is bringing out a short film based on the characters, has a musical stage version in the works and loaned Elsa, Anna and some of the others to US TV drama Once Upon A Time, which uses Disney fairy-tale characters for modern-day drama. But with the movie making more than $1.27 billion worldwide, there has still been no real word on a sequel, with John Lasseter and Ed Catmull’s team and Disney Feature Animation instead focusing on original films – Big Hero 6, which has been a success in the States so far, arrives here on January 30, while 2016 will bring Zootopia a...

Frozen Review. April Faith Spice Loved Frozen

Frozen Review By: April Faith Spice I have to admit that when I first heard sometime last year that Disney's next "Big" movie was called " Frozen " and was about the " Snow Queen " I was a little disappointed and even though I tend to be somewhat of a "Disney Nerd" didn't check into it too terribly much before I was able to see a screening of it this week. I saw the generic teaser that played before Monster's University in May but it also didn't tell me much ABOUT the film, so I wasn't sure where Disney was going with this one. I am glad to report that I was very very surprised with how much I like, no loved Frozen . Before the movie started, I heard a man talking behind me that Disney just isn't his "thing" and that he could take it or leave it, That his life wouldn't be affected either way if it had never existed. My immediate thought was "Blashpemy!", but I kept that to myself. Hones...

Frozen Review. The Disney Singalong Frozen Is Not What We Thought It Would Be

Frozen Review By: MattInRC A snowman and a reindeer steal what is mostly a visual feast of unmemorable characters. Disney has never had a problem putting song and story together. From Snow White to Beauty and the Beast , we've come to revere these as classics, nearly impervious from scrutiny. But what happens when modern competitors try to win over hearts in the age of the 24-hour news cycle? The studio's 53rd in-house animated flick Frozen wraps enough tunes in its first two acts to resemble opera, but is eventually overshadowed by an effeminate snowman and a lovable reindeer. Daughters of royalty Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell ) and Ilsa (voiced by Idina Menzel ) are close as children, enjoying Ilsa's hidden power to make winter wherever they go. Unfortunately, an accident leaves Anna near death, and the family must depend on trolls to save her. Fearful of repeating this tragedy, the parents separate the girls and lock the palace doors to visitors. Years pass, ...
