BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

New Trailer For Jason Statham's Wild Card

A French trailer for Jason Statham 's latest Wild Card emerged online a few weeks ago, and it's followed now by a slightly more subdued affair for the rest of us. There are still plenty of glimpses of crunchy action, but the latest clip chooses to emphasise the dramatic elements in Vegas, with veteran screenwriter William Goldman's name given almost as much prominence as the Stath's. Nobody gets their nose broken with a backwards headbutt this time... Statham's third film with Simon West following The Expendables 2 and The Mechanic , Wild Card was originally called The Heat , and had Brian De Palma attached to direct at one point. Goldman's screenplay is based on his 1985 novel of that latter name (published in the UK as Edged Weapons), and was filmed once before to disappointing results. The 1986 version starring Burt Reynolds went through an incredible five directors, including Robert Altman, who only stayed for a day. Predictably, the end product was...

Trailer For The Mechanic Starring Jason Statham

Trailer For The Mechanic Starring Jason Statham The 1972 film The Mechanic, has been remade and this time it stars bad ass Jason Statham playing the lead role. And Ben Foster starring opposite Statham. The film is directed by Simon West(Con Air and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) The movie is an action-thriller that centers on an assassin and his apprentice. This trailer is pretty awesome, I love what director Simon West is doing with it, this movie is going to be a classic Statham action flick. Note that this is a sales trailer, rather than a teaser or final theatrical trailer. It is meant for distributors, rather than audiences. The film doesn’t yet have distribution, and consequently there is no release date or timeframe for a real theatrical trailer. As is often the case with sales trailers, the quality here is a bit low, which doesn’t help minimize the whole TV-ish aesthetic. Please Leave A Comment- Source- /Films
