TV Recap: Outlander "The Garrison Commander" By: Suepafly Lieutenant Jeremy Foster asks Claire if she is there by her own choice, and although she hesitates, she does admit that she is the guest of the Clan McKenzie. He accepts her answer, but asks that she meet with his commander. Claire cannot refuse. She felt a heaviness leave her breast some, and she was back among her people. She felt liberated to be looked on with pity, instead of hostility. She knew what Dougal was feeling as they rode with the Red Coats. Into the Garrison keep they ride. Lieutenant Jeremy Foster orders his men to see to their own horse, and leads Claire and Dougal inside. The Commander is happy to meet Claire Beecham and Dougal. He’s happy to see a lovely English Rose in Scotland, and brings a lovely array of dining options, and even makes Dougal McKenzie welcome. TV Recap: Outlander "Castle Leoch" By: Suepafly The beginning credits are absolutely breathtaking, from the imagery to the music. Starz, you truly amaze me, and I cannot wait for more of this series. She takes Claire in for some breakfast, and a new wardrobe. Claire worries over Jamie and his injuries. She insists on tending to his wounds first, and Mrs. Fitz will get her what she needs. TV Recap: Outlander "Sassenach"

TV Recap: Outlander "Sassenach" By: Suepafly People disappear all of the time. Some run away, most are found, usually. Claire has never lived in one place long enough to own such a simple thing as a vase, and she could not think of anything she wanted more. It’s six months after the end of the war now, but then, Claire performs some emergency surgery on a soldier until the doctors can take over. There are celebrations erupting all around her. The war is finally over. She drinks deeply from the champagne bottle that she’s holding. In her mind VE day grows fainter, but the day she saw that vase does not. She remembers it clearly, and she knows even with the heartache that follows she wouldn’t change a thing. It’s a beautiful beginning to the beloved Diana Gabaldon series; let’s just hope that they get this one right. Claire and Frank were in Scotland on their second honeymoon. They needed a holiday to get to know the people they’ve become after the days apart. The h...
