What's Up With Zombieland 2? Whats going on world, we got some news on the status of Zombieland 2. The long awaited sequel to Zomibeland was put into action soon after the movie was released. Jesse Eisenberg that the first draft of the script in finished and has been turned in to Sony Pictures by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick . Eisenberg has yet to read the script. But  Ruben Fleischer (director of the first film) has had a chance to read the script and this is what he has to say: Yeah, I read it. Aziz Ansari And Danny McBride Have A Deal With Mandate Pictures Rising comic star Ansari was most recently tapped to host the upcoming MTV Movie Awards and is about to embark on a summer stand-up tour across the U.S. And now we have news that Mandate Pictures has picked up an untitled comedy feature pitch based on an idea by comedian Aziz Ansari and "30 Rock" television scribe Matt Hubbard. Ansari is attached to star in the project alongside comic actor Danny McBride. Harris Wittels, who writes for Ansari's NBC tv series "Parks and Recreation," will pen the feature script. The project, whose plotline is being kept under wraps, reunites McBride and Ansari, both of whom starred in Hill's "Observe and Report" last year. The duo are about to embark on another project together, Columbia Pictures' "30 Minutes or Less," currently in pre-production. Ruben Fleischer To Direct Danny McBride In 30 Minutes Or Less Ruben Fleischer the director behind Zombieland got his eye on directing 30 Minutes Or Less starring Danny McBride from the HBO's hit Eastbound and Down and such films as Tropic Thunder and Pineapple Express. Sony Pictures Entertainment is acquiring distribution rights on the movie, This puts Fleischer back into business with Columbia Pictures and co-prexy Matt Tolmach, who was heavily involved in Zombieland and the sequel they are developing.
