BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Inside the Bucket Podcast #75

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery!
After a few weeks off (and a second try at recording), Inside the Bucket returns with gangster violence, as Matt and John return rested and ready to break down the best movie and television news from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM.

The show begins with all the style of a bull and full of greasy attitude. as the boys discuss this week's hottest TV and movie news. Topics include the cancellation of Pacific Rim 2, the possible arrival of Godzilla in a King King movie, and a new role for Actor Woody Harrelson. They also discuss the re-awakening of this week's box office, will Matt gets excited about Blu-rays releasing this week.

After a pee break, they return to throw down in the Rants and Raves segment, as they bitch and complain about all the things they're watching, following, and are generally pissed off about from the past week. John tells us why he likes Director Bryan Singer's new project and throws out some love for SacAnime, while Matt Rants about two recent releases, and explains the new direction SJF will take when giving away swag.

The show ends with a review of Black Mass as Matt explains why it's good (but not Casino or Goodfellas great).

They also announce two great giveaways, so make sure to listen through the entire podcast for your chance to win.

We've also included links to our Fall Television Preview articles which we discussed last week. Please check them out below.

We encourage you to participate in mailbag, as well as our Open Forum Friday, which is your chance to get in our business about running a passion project like our trainwreck. Please email us at Comments@SandwichJohnFilms.com with any thoughts you have about our show.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
