Paramount choose to accept another mission.
By Brandon Wolfe
For a franchise nearing the 20-year mark, Mission: Impossible is showing no signs of slowing down. With buzz going strong for Rogue Nation, this summer’s fifth installment of the series, franchise-starved Paramount is already looking toward the development of a sixth film, according to The Tracking Board.
Tom Cruise, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and J.J. Abrams are all expected to return as producers and Don Granger and Matt Grimm will be back as executive producers.
Cast-wise, no one is currently set in stone, but it seems unlikely that the series would jettison Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg at this point.
