BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Inside the Bucket Podcast #54

The newest episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery!

After the engineering disaster that was our previous show, Episode 54 of Inside the Bucket returns with a vengeance, as Matt is joined by John, Brandon, and David, as they deliver the best movie and television news from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM.

This week, they break down the teaser trailer for Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation and discuss why CW's The Flash is perhaps the best superhero television show ever made.  Please check out these and other stories which we've included below.

Later, Matt, John, and Brandon present their Rants and Raves, where they bitch and complain about all the things they're watching, following, and have their panties in a bind about from the week.

Finally, they review The Gunman starring Sean Penn, Idris Elba, and Javier Bardem and wonder why these kinds of movies are still getting made.  Brandon then steps aside to get David into a review of Insurgent, starring  Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Kate Winslet, and Jai Courtney.

Don't forget that we're giving away just a couple of screening tickets to Furious 7 and Home if you live outside of the Sacramento region.

We threatened to kill our engineer if he didn't improve on our recording, so hopefully this week's episode is much better.  If not, we're sending him to Idaho for a proper firing squad.

We encourage you to participate in our Open Forum Friday, which is your chance to get in our business about running a passion project like our trainwreck.

Be warned: Inside the Bucket is an EXPLICIT PODCAST.  We tend to say controversial things and cuss just for the heck of it.  So, please be careful if you are listening to us while at work.

We hope you laugh as much as we do bringing the show to you.  As always, thanks to everyone for your continued support, and we'll see you at one of our screenings.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
