BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Vin Diesel As The Last Witch Hunter

When you hire Vin Diesel as your lead actor, you know you’re not just getting his gravelly line delivery and mesomorphic frame. You’re also getting a social media soldier ready to post pics and dangle tantalising hints about his projects on Facebook. He’s now released the very first image from his latest gig, The Last Witch Hunter.

The movie, which Breck Eisner is currently shooting, finds Diesel as an immortal warrior who finds himself in present-day New York having to face down a powerful witch queen intent on unleashing a terrible plague that could wipe out the human race.

His chief ally in the fight, however, is a female witch (Game Of Thrones’ Rose Leslie), who teams up with him to help take down the rising evil. German actress Julie Engelbrecht recently joined the film to play the main villain, with Elijah Wood, Michael Caine and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson already all aboard.

The Last Witch Hunter doesn’t have a set release date yet, but it should be out next year. Until then, we’re sure Diesel will keep the world informed about all the big news.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
