Iron Man 2 AccuTech And Letter From Tony Starks

Iron Man 2 AccuTech And Letter From Tony Starks

The Iron Man 2 viral marketing is in full effect now with the movie coming out in less than a month.  There are a few thing worth checking out.

A new site just launched for AccuTech. Once a small California -based research and development firm founded by then CEO Gilbert O’Connor, we have grown to become an international knowledge-based group with 4,800 employees in over 30 countries. , which is also a subsidiary of Stark Industries. AccuTech is working on a breakthrough in anthropo-robotics, and the new HazTech robotic exoskeleton.

Now check out the logo for AccuTech and tell me that doesn't look familiar. Bleeding Cool points out that the slope of the “A” resembles the Avengers logo that we've seen in the comic books. I guess it's possible that Accutech is going to provide the tech, funding and organization for the Avengers, in the process adopting a very similar logo.

And here is the logo for The Avengers from the comic books

Is it possible that Stark Industries will provide the logo for a subsidiary of Stark Industries somehow becomes the logo for the superhero team? It’s possible. Stark’s company might provide the tech for The Avengers, and some of that tech will surely be produced by AccuTech Research & Development.

Also don't forget to check out Stark Expo 2010.

Marvel has received a letter today

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
