Chuck Cast Interviews Part Two Zachary Levi, Joshua Gomez And Adam Baldwin

Chuck Cast Interviews Part Two Zachary Levi, Joshua Gomez And Adam Baldwin

At Wonder Con this past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Chuck round table interview session. This is part two of my interviews with the cast of the NBC show Chuck. To read part one of my interview with Chris Fedak And Josh Schwartz click Here. If you have ever attend one of these things then you know how crazy and fast pace they are.  You have to be brave and just ask your questions without hesitation and that is what I did. I had the opportunity to talk to the stars of the show Zachary Levi (Chuck), Joshua Gomez (Morgan) And Adam Baldwin (KC). This is my second interview with Zachary Levi, I had gotten the chance to ask him a few things at last years Comic Con.

Once the cast took their seats every reporter put out out their tape recording devices near the actors. Joshua ask everyone "Where are the ipads?" Zachary said  "Apparently no one lined up to go get one." And the entire table starts to laugh. Zack asked Josh to do his Minority Reports in the air demonstrating how he would use an ipad. It was a reference to the film when Tom Cruise used the large screen to move data around.

What kind of power to do you hold over the stories? And having Morgan in more scene together with Chuck.

Zachary "I don't remember, don't know if that ever happened" talking about walking in the office of Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz to ask if they could have more scenes together. "We definitely have conversations. You are always trying to say it would be great if we could be together more." Zachary did stress that they missed each other very much. "I feel like the Chuck and Morgan relationship he and I talked about for years, and when we first started and did the pilot I mean that was one of the biggest things to me, to play myself who is a gamer and have a best friend who is himself a gamer. And us being able to game and get payed for this. We just needed to get to the place where Morgan knew about Chuck's secret and then once he knew he could be more involved and I would not have to lie to him and drive that wedge between us and I think it is grand."

I was able to finally get my question in. And being a fan of the show I had to ask him the question I needed to know.

Will Morgan be involved in any secret missions with you? Spoiler yes, but I had to know.

Zachary "We are not aloud to say anything, Ahh we are literally Ah" Adam Baldwin "Everything is on the table, everything is on the table." Zack was having a hard time to putting things into words and not wanting to let to much out. "If anyone is wondering what is going to happen then just watch the show, I mean it is all there. People will enjoy it and be satisfied and all the things that people have got worried about like the Shippers (Thank you to April for finding that link. Had no idea what that meant.)  and all that calm down, its all good, it will all come together. It's a TV show, you gotta have your ups and downs and lefts and rights that build to certain revelations and answers so that when you get there everyone gets excited and opposed to knew it, it will not matter. Don't worry." At that point I look at Zachary and he Winks at me.  Ah, code for this is going to happen?

How do you feel about the growth of all your characters?

Adam "I am starting to like people which is growth, especially civilians which is growth, he is coming to learn." Joshua "It has been fantastic to start where I was in season one to season 3.  I have had a lot of fun." Zachary "Finally to be apart of this Kickassary, to be so bold, I am going to be bold. is awesome. It is fun to play the comedic, other side of it where I am screaming like a little girl and running away and constantly staying in the car or not really, did I ever. To be part of the fights and beating guys up and yielding guns is fun and all that is awesome. I am a dude and I want to shot things."

How was Zachary as a Director? Zachary directed the episode "Chuck Versus the Beard"

Adam " Kind, loving and specific about acting, intuitive and complete panic.  No he did great and it was a get episode. That is what the great thing is when you have an actor as a director cause he knows when your falling into a trap and he will always have a positive note he will give, as opposed to result oriented, try this because it may get you there.  Opposed to you only get this by doing this. What a good leader does is delegated well to the rest of the crew and he focused on performance and just trying to be organized." "He is in the DGA now, I need to brown nose just in case Zack is directing that movie, Do you remember Wonder Con?"  The entire table was laughing threw out the Q and A.  We were cut short, the cast had other prior engagements to attend to like their panel.

Overall this event was awesome and I really enjoyed talking to the cast and creators of the show.  Make sure you watch or set your DVR for the show.  They really need our help and support for a season 4.  It blows my mind that the show hasn't been picked up yet.  Watch the show every Monday on NBC at 8pm!

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
