Exclusive Interview With Josh Hutcherson Star The Vampire's Assistant And Red Dawn

While at the Spike 2009 Scream Awards I was lucky enough to get a chance to talk to the star of one of upcoming film Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. Josh Hutcherson, You may have seen him star in other films like Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Kicking & Screaming, he was nice enough to give SandwichJohnfilms an exclusive interview that night.



I asked Josh to tell me alittle about the film.

New twist on a vampire movie, in the story there are two kinds of vampires. One would be a vampire and other other a Vampaneze. I play a vampaneze.

What in the hell is a Vampaneze?

A vampaneze is basically a vampire with no rules.

Now tell me about The Remake of Red Dawn that your starring in.

We just started shooting about six weeks ago, and I just wrapped at five am this morning and flew out here from Michigan.


Who are you playing in this film?

I am playing Robert Morris, which was Originally played by C Thomas Howell.

How is the filming going?

It's going great. Movie looks awesome and we got some big things for you fans out there. The sets are amazing and so is the crew.

What Your Favorite Sandwich?"


I am a Turkey guy, very simple turkey, lettuce,cheese and alittle mayonnaise with some salt and pepper.

I thanked Josh for his time and he went off into the sunset, Josh seems very down to earth and a nice guy. I hope to talk to him in the future more about his upcoming film "Red Dawn"

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce.
