The Help Movie Review By: Rama Ramascreen has delivered us another great movie review for the film The Help . Make sure to follow him on Twitter and Like their Facebook page . The word ‘inspiring’ has been loosely used but for what it’s worth, THE HELP is inspiring and it’s also one of the most well-acted films this year. Great ensemble cast, Oscar nominee Viola Davis delivers her best performance yet. Don’t ignore Octavia Spencer’s solid work as well. Emma Stone shines, Jessica Chastain is excellent, Sissy Spacek and Allison Janney are both outstanding. And I find it refreshing that THE HELP’s portrayal of the south is not as stereotypical as what Hollywood usually makes it out to be, because the setting here is colorful and vibrant, and no one is neither toothless nor caught playing banjo.. Bruce Willis in talks to join the cast of Paramount’s G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation , with the veteran action actor marked to play the original Joe. Willis, if a deal comes together, would play General Joe Colton , the man who in 1980s comic books starts the G.I. Joe strike team, called the ultimate freedom fighting force, and got the handle G.I. Joe. Jon M. Chu is directing the Lorenzo di Bonaventura-produced action movie, which is bringing a mostly new cast to the franchise. Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson and RZA are among the recruits for the second film. The movie begins shooting later this month in New Orleans. Paramount has staked out a June 29, 2012 release date. Willis, whose last starring gig was the hit Summit action movie Red, most recently shot the thrillers Cold Light of Day , the Henry Cavill -starrer that is in post-production, as well as Looper , directed by Rian Johnson. Following the totally mixed bag of reactions to that first Catwoman pic we showed you last week, Anne Hathaway —who plays the sexy, leather-clad cat burglar in Christopher Nolan's upcoming final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises —is speaking up, reminding us that we've only just seen a tiny bit of the costume behind that Batpod. In an interview with MTV , the actress addressed those lukewarm reactions head-on and said: "I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions, and I happen to know that MTV's reaction was 'meh.'" Then the actress added: "What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do, and if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste." Millennium Films has acquired the rights to The Bricklayer , the best-selling novel by former FBI agent Noah Boyd, and attached Gerard Butler to star as a rogue former agent who’s called in to help battle a criminal group that is demanding an escalating series of multi-million dollar ransom payments. It’s the first project to be assembled by Mark Gill since he stepped into the role of Millenium president in June, and he’ll oversee it along with Boaz Davidson, head of development and creative affairs, and head of production John Thompson. Hanna Weg (Enigma) is adapting the novel for the screen. Butler, Alan Siegel and Danielle Robinson are producing, with Erik Lindsay and Weg serving as executive producers. The Bricklayer was published by William Morrow in January, 2010. Boyd is actually a pseudonym used by former FBI agent Paul Lindsay. ABC is going back to familiar territory, adapting The Lincoln Lawyer . As first reported by TV Guide, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is working on a drama adaptation of the 2003 novel by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus, while the network has ordered a script from Lionsgate to convert The Lincoln Lawyer in to a drama series, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Lincoln Lawyer , based on the Lionsgate feature starring Matthew McConaughey, has grossed $58 million at the domestic box office, will be written by film scribes John Romano & Michael Connelly, who penned the novels. Gary Luchessi/Lakeshore Entertainment is attached to produce through Lionsgate. Lincoln Lawyer is crime writer Connelly’s 16th novel and revolves around Los Angeles attorney Mickey Haller, the half-brother of Connelly’s famed detective Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch, driving around the city in a Lincoln Town Car driven by a former client working off his legal fees. We told you last week that we were enjoying the current 4th season of Eureka , were looking forward to the 5th (filming now), and were wondering what was up with the reportedly shortened 6th. Now we (sadly) know. Syfy today released the following statement. After painstaking consideration, we have had to make the difficult business decision to not order a season six of Eureka . But Eureka is not over yet. There is a new holiday episode this December and 12 stellar episodes set to debut next year, marking its fifth season and six memorable years on Syfy. The 2012 episodes are some of the best we've seen, and will bring this great series to a satisfying end. We are very grateful to Bruce Miller and Jaime Paglia, their team of incredible writers, and an amazing cast and crew who have consistently delivered a series we continue to be very proud of. We thank the fans for their support of this show and know they will enjoy its final season in 2012. Eureka's current 4th season

Up-and-coming actress Stephanie Szostak in negotiations to play the female lead opposite Ryan Reynolds in Universal’s supernatural action movie RIPD based on the Dark Horse comic. Robert Schwentke is directing the project, which follows a murdered cop ( Reynolds ) who is recruited to work in the Rest in Peace Department, a police force comprised of ghosts who battle spirits unready to depart this world. Jeff Bridges is playing Reynolds' ghostly partner. Szostak will play Reynolds’ wife who can sense that he is still around and to whom he is trying to communicate with in regards to his murder. Neal Moritz and Mike Richardson are producing. David Dobkin, Keith Goldberg and Ori Marmur are exec producing. The movie is eyeing a September start in Boston. French-born Szostak has appeared in The Devil Wears Prada and Dinner for Schmucks. Szostak, repped by UTA, Principal Entertainment and attorney Ken Richman, also plays Matt Damon’s wife in the upcoming Fox drama We Bought
