Another new project has been unveiled at the European Film Market in Berlin: Amanda Seyfried thriller Gone , from Summit Entertainment, Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel. Summit has scooped up domestic distribution to the project. Lakeshore and Nick Meyer's Sierra Pictures/Affinity will now begin selling the project to foreign buyers in Berlin. Buzzed-about Brazilian filmmaker Heitor Dhalia begins lensing Gone in April from a script by Allison Burnett. Hollywood has been wanting to get into business with Dhalia, who makes his English-language debut with Gone. The thriller revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister's bed empty. Big day for casting female fairy tale villains. Famke Janssen will play the leader of the witches in the Tommy Wirkola-directed Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters at Paramount Pictures. She joins Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as the title characters. Arterton  who, 15 years after their narrow fairy tale escape from the gingerbread house, become specialized bounty-hunters looking to take down the witches that almost killed them. I had the chance to get an Exclusive Interview with Kristina Anapau last week and get some insight to how she prepared for her role in Black Swan . I also tried to twist her arm for more information about the rumors about her auditioning for the upcoming SuperMan reboot . Kristina had planned to become a classical ballerina, having trained seriously since the age of 5. But after graduating from high school at fifteen (Yes 15) she attended the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, where she was discovered and cast in an Oahu-filmed television movie Escape From Atlantis; that was the start of her career. She made her rounds on to Television shows ( CSI: NY,House ) and smaller movie roles, then she was cast in Cruel Intentions 3 (Cassidy Merteuil). Next up was a staring role in the Wes Craven Horror film Cursed starring opposite Shannon Elizabeth, Jesse Eisenberg and Milo Ventimiglia. Anapau was a cover model for Stuff magazine. Rosamund Pike is in negotiations to take over the role of Andromeda in Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' Clash of the Titans sequel . Alexa Davalos played the part of the rescued princess in the first film, which grossed $492 million worldwide last year. Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) is directing the big-budget 3D follow-up, which is scheduled to begin shooting next month for a March 2012 release. Sam Worthington (Perseus), Gemma Arterton (Io), Liam Neeson (Zeus) and Ralph Fiennes (Hades) are attached to reprise their roles. Basil Iwanyk and Richard D. Zanuck are producing.
