It looks like Natalie Portman has been cast as Jane Foster the main female lead in Marvels Thor. She will be playing a nurse who later becomes Thor's love interest. I think that she is a great choice for this role. Just curious to how they are going to modernize her character. The movie is due out in May 2011. Chris Hemsworth has already been cast as Thor . Which he got his big break from this Summer's Blockbuster Star Trek playing George Kirk. And Tom Hiddleston will be playing the Evil Loki . source- THR

So is this a rumor or true? I wouldn't mind seeing Ryan Reynolds as The Green Lantern , and I am sure my wife wouldn't mind either. I have always like him since his days in Van Wilder then moving on to Blade. And I really feel he was the best part in Wolverine. After an intense months-long search, Warner Bros. has settled on Ryan Reynolds as its choice to play “Green Lantern,” the studio’s live-action tent pole based on the DC Comics hero. The film is being directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti. Reynolds and his camp entered negotiations for the part Friday, after the studio held two rounds of screen tests, along with actors Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto. Justin Timberlake also did a screen test. . The studio had holding options on the actors, but, except for Reynolds, those expired Monday. Reynolds’ option would have expired end of day Friday. One reason for the long search was De Line, Campbell and the studio each had a different favorit

There will be a Iron Man 2 Panel @ Comic Con this year. According to comingsoon , the panel will take place On July 25, in Hall H from 4-5. Once the Saturday schedule is announced I will post the highlights of the day . I guess Comic Con does listen to the fans. The Twilight New moon panel has been moved up in time. The reason behind this is to clear out Hall H with all the Twilight Fanatics. This is a good thing it will clear out A LOT of people that were there just sitting threw panels to get to Twilight. And free up seats for the next panel. They also moved the Panel for James Cameron's Avatar to 3pm. So this might be a bad thing if you don't like Twilight or yelling women. You'll have to sit threw this to see Avatar.
