BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

The Judge Review: Guilty as Charged

The Judge suffers from too much melodramatic schmaltz to earn our respect or trust. Among the questions raised during our October movie preview , one included the ensemble court drama The Judge : could Actor Robert Downey Jr. rise above his Iron Man persona and deliver a great dramatic performance, while giving its deep cast their individual moments in the sun? The answer is not the strong yes we would have hoped, with the unnecessarily long film barely having enough to keep our attention. Hothead defense attorney Hank Palmer (Downey) lives the fast life, routinely getting the charges against his high-priced clients removed. It's not until the sudden death of his mother that Hank must return to his hometown to bury her and deal with the demons from his past. There's his brother Glen (Vincent D'Onofrio) whose high profile accident in their youth ruined his baseball career, and the girl Hank left behind (Vera Farminga), who now has a daughter. But it's the

Kill the Messenger Review: Gritty, Gutsy Thriller Gets Its Hands Dirty

Kill the Messenger largely succeeds at opening old conspiracy wounds. When is the truth too big to tell? 9/11 conspiracies dominated conversation afterwards, but recent history has been littered with one story of government betrayal after another. In Kill the Messenger , we see what was perhaps the first story to go viral, leading its writer to suffer greatly under its torrid but largely unsubstantiated revelations. The film largely succeeds, potentially paving its way to an Oscar invite in February, even if it's a bit short on specifics. San Jose Mercury News writer Gary Webb (Jeremy Renner) is writing stories about government seizures of drug homes in the 1990's, when a much bigger fish presents itself on his hook: for years, the American government has been pumping drugs into ghetto inner-city neighborhoods to fund the Nicaraguan Contra rebels against Communism. Webb can't help himself: a purveyor of the truth, he soon descends into a rabbit hole of contine

TV Recap: SUPERNATURAL "BLACK" By: Suepafly Supernatural is back, and it’s gonna be all about Deanmon, because well, why not? It’s been the Sam show, now it’s Dean’s time. The road so far has been a long one stretching over nine seasons and 1000 episodes, not to mention some pretty awesome music. It’s all been one heck of a ride! Dean truly is a demon now, and Sam’s boy scout code is gone as he tortures a demon looking for Crowley. He stabs her, twisting the blade as she doesn’t answer. He reduces her to weeping, telling her to make the call. He wants his brother, and he wants him now. Four weeks later, a one armed Sammy still looks for clues. Books of demonic possession litter his desk. Sam is looking a little rough as he pours over weather reports, and finding nothing. Dean left a note before he left telling Sammy to let him go. And in the midst of Nicky’s latest, very dangerous scheme, she throws his plans for a loop… And the con man decidedly off his focus. #TerminatorGenisys More Likely To Be PG-13

Our good friends over at The Arnold Fans spoke to Jai Courtney about Terminator: Genisys . They got him talking about the potential rating for the film, and it appears we’re headed for another toned-down Terminator. " I would love to see it be rated R, but I don't think it will. I think in this day & age, it's much more likely to be PG-13 . There were no f-bombs. But there'll be a healthy amount of movie violence." Asked about the idea for sequels, Courtney appeared to confirm reports that the next two films will be shot back to back , which fits with Paramount looking to have them in theaters for 2017 and 2018. With Alan Taylor directing and Arnold Schwarzenegger on board, Terminator: Genisys arrives July 15, 2015. Please Leave A Comment-

Will Smith Has To "Focus"

At the moment it sounds like we won't be seeing him in Roland Emmerich 's developing Independence Day sequel. But for those with a Will Smith craving there's always Focus , a romantic crime caper co-starring The Wolf Of Wall Street's Empire Award winning Margot Robbie . Filming took place this time last year and the first stills have just arrived online, courtesy of USA Today . Smith plays a con artist getting romantically involved with Robbie's novice grifter, only for the partnership to sour. Flash-forward in time, and our hero is setting up an elaborate heist in Buenos Aires when the owner of an international racing team (300's Rodrigo Santoro ) hires him to help gain an edge over the competition. But when Robbie shows up again, both men compete for her affections and the love triangle’s sharp edges start to cut… Crazy, Stupid, Love directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa wrote the script and are once again behind the cameras, this time in New Or
