Spielberg To Ride The "War Horse" Steven Spielberg has selected his next directing job: World War I epic " War Horse ." Disney and DreamWorks will release the film Aug. 10, 2011. "War Horse" is based on Michael Morpurgo's novel of the same name, as well as a stage adaptation. Spielberg is producing with Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Revel Guest. Scribes Lee Hall and Richard Curtis are penning the adapted script. Set against the sweeping backdrop of the Great War, storyline charts the extraordinary friendship between a boy and a horse who are separated but whose fates continue to intertwine over the course of WWI. The Great War was a natural topic for Spielberg to take on. He's already explored World War II in a number of projects, including directing "Saving Private Ryan." Piranha 3D Full Trailer Another trailer released today. This is the official and full trailer for the upcoming film Piranha 3D.  I know I know when I first heard about this movie I thought, another corny movie. But after seeing the full trailer its got my attention. First Photo Of Chris Hemsworth As Thor Yesterday we brought you the first look at Destroyer from the upcoming Thor movie and today Marvel released the first photo of Chris Hemsworth as Thor himself. I have never read a Thor comic book before so I am not sure what to expect but from what I have seen and heard from other sites about how the costume doesn't really fit in with the "real-world" vibe that we've seen in Iron Man If you are attending Comic Con this year I would expect to see a Thor presence there.
