There are plenty of vivid details from the car crash that sent Tiger Woods to the hospital: His SUV hit a fire hydrant and a tree; his lips were cut and he had blood in his mouth; his wife smashed a rear window with a golf club to get him out; he briefly lost consciousness. There are also plenty of questions, among them: Where was he going at 2:25 a.m. Friday? Why was there no word from the Woods' camp for nearly 13 hours after the accident? Police hope Woods can answer some of them Saturday. Two troopers tried to talk to the world's No. 1 golfer Friday evening, but his wife said he was sleeping and they agreed to come back Saturday, Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said. According to the patrol, Woods had just left his Florida mansion when he lost control of his 2009 Cadillac and hit a fire hydrant, then a tree on his neighbor's property. The report said alcohol was not a factor. The patrol reported the accident occurred at 2:25 a.m.

Avatar: Flying With Banshees Behind the Magic Fox Movie Channel has released their Making a Scene segment on James Cameron’s Avatar on Hulu. The ten minute segment takes a look at a scene in the film when Jake Sully and Neytiri fly together on Banshees for the first time. The segment gives us a glimpse at the work that went on behind the scenes to create this scene. It’s fine if you’re not impressed by how Avatar looks, but after watching this featurette, you should at least be impressed by some of the the technical innovations and processes that were created to make this film. A-Team: Dirk Benedict Cameo Confirmed Just a few weeks ago, Peter Hall brought you the news that Dwight Schultz, aka the original Howlin' Mad Murdock, had earned a cameo in Joe Carnahan's remake of The A-Team. Obviously, you can't invite Schultz and not invite the rest of the surviving team, and it seems Faceman will also be getting some facetime. According to Dirk Benedict Central, Dirk Benedict will also be appearing in the film in an unspecified role. Remember when this kind of thing stayed secret? I'm not losing sleep over the production of The A-Team or anything, but it makes me nostalgic for the days down the long haul and into history back when you didn't know anything about secret cameos until you were in the dark theater. Then you could nudge whoever you were with and say "Oh my gosh! That's Dirk Benedict! Ha ha!" Jeremy Renner, To Play Hawkeye In Upcoming Marvel Films? "The Hurt Locker" obviously did wonders for underrated actor Jeremy Renner's career. He was in discussions about taking some sort of role in George Miller's "Mad Max: Fury Road" (many speculated the lead role) and now the thesp says he's up for a reoccurring smaller role in Marvel films. In the latest issue of Empire magazine (not online, but our U.K. writer Oliver Lyttelton transcribed for us), Renner says he and Marvel have been in discussions about playing the archer character Hawkeye that will make appearances in a least two upcoming Marvel pictures, including a cameo in "Thor" and then a role in "The Avengers" supergroup. "Hawkeye could be interesting. They're going to send me some stuff on it, see what it is. But I think they're pretty awesome, trying to make superhero movies almost plausible and not just some fantasy thing." Sounds like a cameo ala Sam
