Marvel’s Agent Carter “Now is Not the End” / “Bridge and Tunnel” Review by Brandon Wolfe Out of all the characters that have appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I’m not sure that Agent Peggy Carter would have been my first choice for a television spin-off. That’s not a swipe at Hayley Atwell’s steely American agent (with a British accent), who was perfectly fine in Captain America: The First Avenger , but this wasn’t a character that seemed to necessitate further exploration on an expanded canvas. Add to that the fact that Carter was landlocked from the rest of the active Marvel Universe due to her existence in the 1940s, making the opportunities for movie crossovers virtually impossible, or at least less significant (even Cap himself is frozen in her timeline and therefore unavailable for cameos), and it didn’t seem like a show about Carter would prove a fruitful endeavor toward Marvel’s hyper-synergistic approach

Netflix announced its upcoming slate and of course the one thing we’re mostly interested in is Marvel‘s DAREDEVIL series which now has a premiere date, Friday, April 10, 2015. Mark your calendar! Following yesterday's news of the upcoming release schedule at Fox, Universal has now jumped in on the action. The studio has announced that the developing fifth Bourne movie , which reunites Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass with the franchise, will be shifting back a fortnight into the slot just vacated by Planet Of The Apes 3 . The amnesiac super-spy will now return to cinema screens on July 29, 2016 . The move gives the film a bit of breathing room in that crowded summer, meaning it now won't open a mere week after Star Trek 3 as originally planned. As the schedule stands, it currently only shares a weekend with Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates . Mike and Dave may need rather more than that to avoid a box-office pummelling. Can't say there's anything mentioned there that I don't love. Isabella, Galavant and Sid enjoy an easy peaceful ride. It's been all too easy of a journey, but that''s about to change. TV Recap: GALAVANT "PILOT" By: Suepafly Galavant is finally here, and I cannot be more excited. The melodies have been like an infectious ear worm, and it looks amazing. Seriously, is it legal to have so many fantastic beards on one show. I think the clear answer is no. Galavant opens up with the song that played thousands of times during Comic Con, and I'm not sad to see it again as the handsome Galavant is introduced along with his lady love, Madalena, whom he loved long and hard. They were deeply in love and as Galavant went to get her a piglet, King Richard took a liking to Madalena, and he stole her. Now, its Madalena's wedding day, and only Galavant can save her as he rushes forward. King Richard checks on his bride to be and makes it clear that once they're married they're going to do it.
