Spider-Man Close Up Photos Of Costume & Web-Shooters

We got our hands on some up-closes photos From the upcoming Spider-Man Reboot . Let's remember that this suit was built for doing stunts and not the actual suit that Andrew Garfield will be wearing in the film. So what do you guys think? Also check 5 key changes to the New Spider-Man Costume. See the full images after the Jump.. You can see that he will be having  mechanical web-shooters, the new franchise could be planning a major reboot of the character's history, as longtime fans know that Peter Parker's web-shooting ability originally stemmed from a pair of mechanical bracelet-like contraptions that he wore under his gloves. I'm pretty sure that's just part of the stunt costume, not the final look (the same might be said of the "sneakers," too — though we'll have to wait for more official imagery to be sure). 5 Key Changes To Spider-Man Costume

Thanks to MTV's crack staff that did all this hard work to find 5 key changes in the new Spider-Man costume. The first image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man was released yesterday , and the online world is buzzing about what it could mean for the upcoming reboot of the blockbuster film franchise. While there are certainly a lot of questions to be asked about Peter Parker's bloodied and bruised condition in the photo, the image also reveals some interesting changes made to Spider-Man's iconic costume. The lean and lanky Garfield casts a very different shadow as Spidey than the franchise's former star, Tobey Maguire, and given what we can tell from the photo, the familiar red-and-blue costume seems to have undergone a reboot of sorts, too. After staring intently at the photo without blinking for the last few hours, I've come up with five notable changes in Spider-Man's costume gleaned from the new image. Read the 5 key after the Jump.. 1. The WEB-SHOO...

Andrew Garfield Talks Spider-Man

"I feel like a kid in my pajamas" Andrew Garfield , still riding high from Oscar hopeful The Social Network, recently spoke to The Guardian during a break in filming on the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, in which Emma Stone co-stars. Nothing substantial about the movie was revealed, but the 27-year-old Brit -- who also starred in Never Let Me Go alongside Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley -- did offer insight into the Spider-Man suit, working out and Peter Parker. "We started shooting two weeks ago and then we have Christmas off," Garfield shared. "Then we're back into it for, gosh, I'm sure a fair bit of time. It's nice, I've never really done a -- well, I guess The Social Network took four months to shoot but I was kind of in and out; I wasn't there every single day. But with this, I'm going to have to hibernate into this character for at least four or five months." (Prior to shooting, Garfield said he would most likely be cri...

Stone is playing the love interest of Peter Parker/Spider-Man ( Andrew Garfield ) and Leary will play police Captain George Stacy , her father who frequently came into contact with the web-slinging superhero. In Marvel Comics lore, Stacy perished in an accident during a battle between Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus, an event that led Gwen Stacy to hate the hero. Columbia and director Marc Webb are keeping the James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent-penned script under lock and key so it’s uncertain how faithful to the core story Leary’s version of the character will be. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and Laura Ziskin are producing the movie, which begins shooting in December. Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR

The actress is in early talks to play Peter Parker’s beloved aunt in the new Spider-Man movie. Aunt May is a key supporting character in Peter Parker/Spider-Man’s life, as she is the only family the young hero has. In the early comics, she was portrayed as a frail lady who worried over her nephew, trying to set him up with the neighbor’s daughter, and frequently got sick, adding to Peter's personal woes. Alvin Sargent To Lend A Hand To Spider-Man Reboot

Alvin Sargent To Lend A Hand To Spider-Man Reboot The veteran screenwriter (and repeat Spidey scribe) has been brought on board to fine-tune Columbia’s "Spider-Man" reboot being directed by Marc Webb. The studio is working off a script by Jamie Vanderbilt, who wrote “Zodiac” and a draft of “Spider-Man 4” before the studio scrapped its plans for the sequel to re-start the series. Sargent is doing a production polish as the studio runs with eight legs toward a planned shoot later this year. Sargent, 83, is practically part of the Peter Parker family, having worked on every single “Spider-Man” movie. The acclaimed writer of hefty dramas like 1980s “Ordinary People” and 1973’s “Paper Moon" has become the studio’s go-to guy for punching up weighty scenes. The new “Spider-Man” is rumored to be more emotionally anchored and realistic than the previous movies. Word is that Peter Parker will be a 17-year-old high school kid struggling with shifting hormones and an outsider s...
