Like most people (and most reviewers) after the disappointing third installment of the "Pirates" franchise, I was a little concerned that seeing "Stranger Tides" at the theatre would be a waste of my money. After all, both Thor and X-Men: First Class are also out and if I wanted to wait a couple of weeks, I could go see Green Lantern . Pirates of the Caribbean:On Stranger Tides Movie Review By: SandwichJohn Let's start this review by saying Pirates of the Caribbean:On Stranger Tides was better then Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End . Which isn't really saying much. Looks like this film did fall into the fourth film curse. Read the article HERE . I truly hope that they don't make another film in this franchise, but rumors have it more are on the way in the near future. I wasn't jumping out of my seat to see this film in the first place, but I had to do a review on the film and my oldest wanted to go, so what is a Dad to say. Gitty up, let's go see the movie. The film stars J ohnny Depp, Penélope Cruz, Ian McShane, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Gemma Ward, and Richard Griffiths . The film is scheduled to be released on May 20, 2011. Watch the clips after the Jump... That metallic sheen could suggest any number of likelihoods. Perhaps Jack Sparrow will find an island of pirate Terminators, or get his skeleton laced with adamantium (either of which we would totally pay to see). Possibly it hints at an encounter with the Silver Surfer, or, at a stretch (because those other suggestions are so plausible) with Chromeskull from Laid to Rest. Or maybe it's a metaphor for On Stranger Tides itself: an entry in a franchise that's comfortably familiar but slightly tweaked. Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me) Today must be teaser Monday, kinda feel like I'm back in High School. With all this teasing going on and all  news that has hit the web I feel I need a cold shower. Splice the main brace and whatnot, me hearties, there be a teaser poster for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides yonder. Ahaaarr, yo-ho, etc. Here is a snap shot of Captain Jack . What does it tell us? Absolutely nothing. What we have here is the usual franchise image of the piratey skull on the crossed swords, against a black background.
