As Wolverine , Hugh Jackman's a tall, lean muscle machine. However, in the Marvel comics, Wolverine's really quite a short and stocky (and VERY muscular) guy. So for The Wolverine, director Darren Aronofsky told the Australian actor to really beef it up in order to match the comic-book character's more massive look. So what's a guy to do? That's what Jackman is doing right now to prepare for his role in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine sequel (yes, we know it's not REALLY a sequel but more of a stand-alone film)—packing in a whopping 6,000 calories a day to add more muscles to his tall, 6-foot-2.5-inch, 210-pound (he started at 190) frame.
