For a while now, the sequel to Mark Millar comic adaptation Wanted has been seemingly lost in limbo, unable to find its way as director Timur Bekmambetov concentrated on other projects. But now, according to the director himself, it has stepped up a gear thanks to some new plot ideas. Speaking with The Playlist , Bekmambetov revealed that things are still very much moving forward on the film. "An unbelievable thing happened three weeks ago," Bekmambetov says. "Because we stopped, we didn't know what to do for three or four years. Three weeks ago I came up with a great idea and I pitched this idea and everybody fell in love with it. And now I think we're on track. Right now the writer is working on the script, and it will be shocking." Shocking, eh?
