Handler will play the best friend and confidante of a woman ( Witherspoon ) who is lusted after by two best friends. The pals are CIA agents who wage an escalating war for her affection. Cooper, who was attached to star opposite Reese Witherspoon, didn't offer a reason for the decision. Cooper's upcoming projects include Warner Bros.' "Hangover 2" and Rogue Pictures' "Dark Fields." Witherspoon remains attached to star in "This Means War," which McG will direct. Fox and McG hope to begin lensing as early as late spring or summer.
