Anna Kendrick is in negotiations to star in Pitch Perfect , the Gold Circle romantic comedy set in the world of collegiate a cappella groups. Universal is distributing. The project will be directed by Jason Moore ( Avenue Q ) and is based on the nonfiction book written by GQ magazine's Mickey Rapkin. Rebel Wilson , one of the breakouts of Bridesmaids, is already cast in the project, which revolves around a goth-like and rebellious student ( Kendrick ), unhappy to be at a school at which her father is a professor, who discovers her voice and becomes the secret weapon for the school’s female a cappella group. The role could serve a nice 180 for Kendrick, who has made a name for herself playing self-assured Type A personalities. Don't Get Your Hopes Up Just Yet Animated Twilight series in works? According to reports, after " Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 " and " Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 " there could be an animated Japanese television series in the works. Sounds...er....interesting. At this time, there hasn't been any real news on a series of this kind, however, Kristen Stewart did mention in an interview last year that her character looked Asian in a particular scene and that she looked like an anime character. Of course, that is absolutely no verification that the "Twilight Saga" will be turned into an animated series so until something more official comes in, we'll just have to sit and wonder. I can just imagine the characters now with their enormous eyes that are bigger than their faces. The extremely long eye lashes and short bodies. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Films To Be Separated By A Year Bad news for all you Twi-hards, Summit has announced that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part One will arrive as planned on November 18 next year, Part Two won’t hit screens until November 16, 2012 , a full year later. Yes, that sound you hear is Twi-Hards scrambling to stock up on camping supplies so that they can spend the months between movies queuing for the next one. Director Bill Condon must have finally put his foot down and demanded that Summit stop pushing for the movies to come out so quickly, realising that even if Melissa Rosenberg’s scripts don’t include all the out-there madness of the book, it’s still a big task. And chances are there is also the increasingly busy schedule of the cast to be considered when booking in the publicity tours. And the big question of course, is… at what point will the story be broken up? Will fans be left on tenterhooks wondering what happens next? Er… Doubtful,

The Twilight job came open when The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz decided not to reprise, despite directing a film that grossed $707 million worldwide., almost doubling the Catherine Hardwicke-directed original's $385 million worldwide gross.
