BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Heather Graham Returns For Hangover Part III

While she may have sat out last year's trip to Thailand, " The Hangover " thesp Heather Graham is set to return for Todd Phillips' comedy " The Hangover Part III ," which distributor Warner Bros. will co-finance with Legendary Pictures. In the original blockbuster, Graham played Jade, a Las Vegas stripper who marries Ed Helms' character, Stu. " The Hangover Part II " followed Helms and co-stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha as they traveled to Thailand for Stu's wedding to Lauren ( Jamie Chung ), leaving Jade to stay behind stateside. While plot details remain under wraps for the latest sequel, it's safe to say a reunion between Stu and Jade is on the itinerary. Graham joins fellow franchise veterans Mike Epps and Ken Jeong in the ensemble cast, which is expected to add several well-known actors in cameo roles. In addition to co-writing the script with Craig Mazin, Phillips will also produce with Daniel ...

Hangover Cast In For A Huge Payday For The Third Film

Warner Bros. is going to pay a hefty bar tab to get another Hangover. Dealmaking on the studio’s third installment in the raunchy comedy franchise is wrapping up after dragging on for months due in part to the salary demands of its three stars. Sources close to the negotiations say Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are asking for $15 million each (against backend) to reprise their roles, and they now are likely to get it. That’s a big raise from 2009’s The Hangover, which was made for about $35 million and paid the headliners under $1 million each (Cooper made the most because he had the biggest name recognition at the time). When the R-rated bachelor-party comedy unexpectedly grossed $467 million worldwide, the studio found itself without talent deals for a sequel. Negotiations were heated for The Hangover Part II, released last May, with the three principals each scoring around $5 million, according to a source, plus back-end compensation that raised their haul into...

Mel Gibson Cameo In "The Hangover 2"

Could This Change His Image? The troubled star, who was dropped by the William Morris Endeavor agency in July and has also faced allegations that he assaulted and made threats against his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, has signed to play a Bangkok tattooist in the highly anticipated comedy. "It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October." The sequel to the wildly successful 2009 " The Hangover " will follow the gang, played by Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zack Galifianakis and Justin Bartha , as they take a boys' trip to Thailand with a dangerous stop in Bangkok. Asian gangster Mr. Chow, played by Ken Jeong , will also return. It is not known if Gibson's "Hangover 2" character will reference his current real-life problems. But th...

Hangover 2 Details

You Ready For More Mr. Chow? Todd Phillips is a busy man. After making comedy look pretty effortless with The Hangover , he's back hoping to repeat the trick with roadtripper Due Date, all while gearing up for the another dose of Rohypnol-fuelled mayhem with The Hangover 2 . The sequel, scheduled to start shooting later this month, will take the bruised and battered pals to climes near and far - and in both cases, no doubt, seriously hazardous. "It takes place in Bangkok and LA," Phillips told Empire. "There's gonna be some fucked-up surprises." While the potential for fucked-up surprises in Patpong is virtually limitless, it's less of a shock to learn that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms will be back at the heart of the carnage. "The three guys are back," Phillips said. "Mr. Chow's back too." More carnage, more eccentric gangster weirdness from Ken Jeong and the promise of a tiger encounter in its na...

The Hangover 2 Cast Is Ready To Go And Get A Huge Raise

The Hangover 2 Cast Is Ready To Go And Get A Huge Raise With the sucess of The Hangover Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures had commissioned a script for another installment.  The film grossed  $467 million worldwide and the film became Hollywood’s biggest grossing R rated comedy ever. I’m told that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms will each be paid in the vicinity of $5 million against 4% of first dollar gross. Director/producer Todd Phillips will be paid around $10 million against 10%. For Phillips, there are also escalators and bonuses that insure if the sequel does anywhere close to the original’s $467 million worldwide gross, Phillips will not make less than his income on the original. That meter is still running, and it has passed the $50 million mark. Why was The Hangover 2 such a difficult deal to put together? It was a perfect storm of leverage: the three stars made less than $1 million collectively on a film that became Hollywood’s biggest grossing ...
