It feels like we’ve been waiting a long time for Terrence Malick’s latest, but compared to the pauses he used to take between films, a couple of years between To The Wonder and now seems like the blink of an eye. The trailer for the film has now arrived for you to peruse and unpick. It’s very identifiable as a Malick piece: some stark, startling imagery, ruminations on Big Themes and actors being put through their paces. Here, our focus is Christian Bale , a man navigating through the gloss, glamour and gonzo world of Hollywood, but also experiencing its pitfalls.
