PARAMOUNT PICTURES’ AND NICKELODEON MOVIES’ “ TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS ” OPENS IN DOMESTIC IMAX® 3D THEATRES FOR A SPECIAL ONE-WEEK ENGAGEMENT BEGINNING THURSDAY, JUNE 2. Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and IMAX Corporation today announced that “TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS,” the latest installment in the blockbuster franchise, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® format and released in IMAX® 3D theatres domestically for a special one-week run beginning Thursday, June 2 with 5:00 p.m. showtimes. Additionally, the film will be released in approximately 30 select overseas IMAX markets, beginning Wednesday, June 1 and rolling out to additional markets such as Japan, Taiwan, Brazil and Mexico throughout the summer. Michael Bay has released a photo giving us our first look at   Stephen Amel l as vigilante Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 . The mask he's wearing seems to have all the elements of what we've seen in the comics. Turtles 2 stars Megan Fox, Brian Tee, Alessandra Ambrosio, William Fichtner, Will Arnett , and Tyler Perry . Bebop and Rocksteady will appear as villains, but there's no word on who will be playing them. The movie is being directed by Earth to Echo‘s David Green, and it's set for release on June 3, 2016.
