TNT Renews Three Summer Hits: The Last Ship, Major Crimes and Falling Skies All Three Dramas Rank among Basic Cable's Top 5 Scripted Series So Far This Summer Falling Skies to Wrap Up Epic Story in Fifth and Final Season TNT has renewed three of its chart-topping summer hits: The Last Ship, Major Crimes and Falling Skies . All three dramas rank among basic cable's Top 5 scripted series this summer with total viewers and adults 25-54. They have also helped TNT score a significant lead as basic cable's #1 network in primetime for the summer-to-date. TNT has ordered 13 episodes of The Last Ship , an increase over its first-season order of 10 episodes. The network is also ordering 15 episodes for season four of Major Crimes. And Falling Skies will mark its fifth and final season with 10 episodes. TNT Invades Comic-Con with Legends, The Last Ship and Falling Skies and  Legends at Center of First-Ever Branded Takeover of San Diego Airport TNT is bringing its eagerly anticipated drama Legends to Comic-Con International: San Diego 2014 with multiple events and initiatives, including the first-ever branded takeover of San Diego International Airport. The gripping undercover drama starring Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings) is the centerpiece of TNT's extensive presence at this year's Comic-Con, which takes place July 24-27 at the San Diego Convention Center. This year's Comic-Con will also feature events spotlighting TNT's top-rated new series The Last Ship , including a party with CraveOnline aboard the USS Midway, and Falling Skies , with a special alien cocoon experience highlighting a key element in the show's fourth season. Don't Look Up Falling Skies is an upcoming alien invasion science fiction television series developed for TNT, and will start broadcasting June 2011. The show is produced by DreamWorks Television, with Steven Spielberg acting as executive producer. The show stars our favorite ER doctor Noah Wyle , Will Patton and Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation, Faster). The show reminds me of V, but time will only tell if this show will have legs or just fall into a black hole like V has. Watch the trailer after the Jump.. Noah Wyle as a former college professor who becomes the leader of a group of soldiers and civilians struggling against an occupying alien force. Moon Bloodgood co-stars as Anne Glass, a therapist who works with the surviving children to help them cope with the traumatic situation. Steven Spielberg Alien Invasion Drama Picked Up By TNT TNT has picked up the pilot for the new Steven Spielberg alien invasion drama starring Noah Wyle from E.R. The alien invasion project, written by Robert Rodat from an idea he conceived with Spielberg, is set shortly after aliens have wiped out most of the human population. Wyle plays the leader of a ragtag group of soldiers and civilians who struggle against the occupying alien force, with Moon Bloodgood, Jessy Schram, Seychelle Gabriel and Maxim Knight co-starring. Jason Lee Jumps In The "Delta Blues," Show To Be Produced By George Clooney My Name Is Earl" star Jason Lee is jumping back into TV as the lead in "Delta Blues," TNT's pilot executive produced by George Clooney. The hourlong "Delta Blues," from Clooney and Grant Heslov's Smokehouse Pictures and Warner Horizon, centers on Dwight Hendricks (Lee), a Memphis police officer who lives with his mother and moonlights as an Elvis impersonator. Michael Wright, TNT and TBS head of programming, called Lee "the ideal choice to bring the compelling, off-kilter Dwight Hendricks to life." Clark Johnson is directing the pilot from a script by Liz M. Garcia and Joshua Harto. Clooney, Heslov, Garcia and Johnson serve as executive producers, with Henry Bronchtein and Abby Wolf-Weiss co-exec producing and Harto producing.
