On behalf of the theatrical release of The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature , City of Henderson has joined forces with Open Road Films to promote the importance of parks and the joy they can provide for kids as well as adults. On Thursday, July 6 , people of all ages are invited to partake in a FREE, Dive-In Movie Night Extravaganza, worthy of going nuts for! The event, taking place at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex located at 310 S. Racetrack Rd in Henderson, begins at 7:00pm and will include activities such as swimming, an inflatable obstacle course, water slide, human checkers, and corn hole. Additional entertainment will be provided by 106.9 The Q, Hot 97.5, the Henderson Fire Department, Peridot Sweets, Kona Ice, PB Crave and Blue Diamond Almonds. Best of all, families will enjoy a meet and greet with their favorite squirrel, Surly! To continue with the excitement of the event, a screening of the original animated movie The Nut Job, will take place at 8:00pm inside the Aquatic Comple
