Everyone’s favorite spooky family is back in the animated comedy sequel, The Addams Family 2 . In this all new movie we find Morticia and Gomez distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with “scream time.” To reclaim their bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. Their adventure across America takes them out of their element and into hilarious run-ins with their iconic cousin, IT, as well as many new kooky characters. The sequel to MGM’s 2019 box-office smash hit, The Addams Family has rounded out its stellar voice cast with the additions of Bill Hader as all-new character “Cyrus,” and Javon “Wanna” Walton taking on the role of the youngest Addams sibling, “Pugsley.” Hader and Walton join returning Addams Family film stars Charlize Theron (Morticia), Oscar Isaac (Gomez), Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday), Nick Kroll (Fester), Bette Midler (Grandma) and Snoop Dogg (It). Director Greg Tiernan has also returned for the sequel, which will be released in theaters October 8, 2021 via MGM’s United Artists Releasing banner.      Said Tiernan: “The success of last year’s animated film was proof of the enduring legacy of The Addams Family and its ability to transcend popular culture. This second film will be every bit as fun as the original. Don Reo is set to executive produce the Warner Bros. TV-produced Snoop vehicle about a father and his family of misfit children. Snoop Dogg is a step closer to adding sitcom star to his already broad resume. The rapper, along with veteran sitcom producer Don Reo (My Wife and Kids, Two and a Half Men), with whom he did an arc for on Fox's Brothers , has sold a family comedy pitch to NBC. The project centers on a father ( Snoop ) and his family of misfit children. The multi-cam half hour, which hails from Warner Bros. TV, counts Reo as a writer and executive producer, with Snoop attached as a producer and star. Ted Chung (Dogg After Dark) will also serve as a producer on the project. If it ultimately gets picked up to series, it will join Snoop's other small screen credits, including Doggy Fizzle Televizzle, a 2002 sketch comedy show he produced and starred in for MTV, and Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood, a reality series centering on his family for E!. Rapper Snoop Dogg will star in biopic The Legend of Fillmore Slim , announced today by Ames Universal and SRI Entertainment. Fillmore Slim — real name Clarence Sims — is a blues singer and guitarist. During the 1960s and ’70s, he was also a well-known pimp in San Francisco, referred to as “ The West Coast Godfather of the Game ” and “ The Pope of Pimping . ” Shelly Liebowitz is executive producing. Alan Ames, who is co-producing with Wayne Anderson and writing the screenplay with Carole Parker, produces the syndicated TV series Texas Roadhouse Live. He was approached by Sims’ daughter Rebecca, who helped put the project together. “This film will span decades,” said Ames, “from Slim’s emergence as a musician, to his fascination with the fast life, through his years of incarceration and his redemption.” Sims, now 77 years old, is currently touring. In collaboration with Lucasfilm , they’ve managed to combine footage from Star Wars with special appearances by David Beckham, Daft Punk and Snoop Dogg. Can you name who else makes a guest appereance? “To seamlessly integrate new shots of David Beckham, Snoop Dogg and company into original Star Wars footage, a set was created to replicate the original dimensions of that bar featured in the film. This enabled the performers to work realistically with the props, make the correct eye-lines and so on. Where they were required to interact with Star Wars characters, stand-ins were used to ensure a realistic performance. The color palettes and lighting conditions of the new shots were also carefully chosen so they could be easily blended with the original footage.
