MEGAN LEAVEY is based on the true life story of a young marine corporal ( Kate Mara ) whose unique discipline and bond with her military combat dog saved many lives during their deployment in Iraq. Battle: Los Angeles Movie Review By: SandwichJohn Going into the film I really didn't know much about it other than what I had seen in the trailers and what I know of the urban legend of the Battle of Los Angeles . The one thing I have to warn you about is the shaky camera work that is used in the film. So you have been warned. From the start of this movie I knew I was going to enjoy it. Once all the trailers are done being shown, the film starts and we are right in the Battle. We see that some kind of strange force has been taking over the world and their last stop on the ride is Los Angles.
