BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Exclusive Interview With Director TJ Scott . We Talk #DeathValley & So Much More

By: John Meneghetti I had the chance to talk to director  TJ Scott about his upcoming film Death Valley and what Superhero film he would like to direct. Can you tell me about the film and how you got involved? Writer Brad MacPherson and I had wanted to collaborate on a script together for about a year when he brought me a storyline he was conjuring up that I really liked because thematically it delved into ‘how you never really know anyone until you are in a crisis with them’ - and how every person has 'the Mask they want you to see - and the Mask they hide'. We took his storyline and sculpted it into a movie that could shoot in Death Valley - because it is my favorite place on earth - but it is very difficult to shoot there as it is a National Park, with many restrictions. Shortly after finishing the script our Producer friend Taylor Williams mentioned he was looking for a cool little Indy Script to help finance - he liked our script - and we were off and r...

The Golden Globes Are Announced

Who got left out of this year's nominations? We have your guide after the jump! The Golden Globes are always a bit of a mixed bag - Johnny Depp for The Tourist! Angelina Jolie for The Tourist! - but this year things are mixed in a different way, with no clear leader dominating the field. Then again, Grand Budapest Hotel also did well, as did Into The Woods and Gone Girl. Notable by their absence are Unbroken, American Sniper and Interstellar, as is Peter Dinklage for his sterling work on Game Of Thrones. Also, no Sons Of Anarchy , or Orphan Black , or Outlander , or... well, the list goes on. Below are our key picks of nominees, but for the full list, including more TV and music-based nods, head over to the Golden Globes' official website, where all is revealed (IN BLOCK CAPITALS...
