BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Fall 2015 Television Preview: Fox

We continue our look at the upcoming Fall television season by focusing on Fox's offerings. Story by Sue Lukenbaugh Fox did a fair amount of chopping as well, taking out 13 shows. It canceled long running shows American Idol , The Following , Kitchen Nightmares , Glee , The X Factor , and The Mindy Project , though Mindy did get saved by a Hulu pick-up. Also getting the ax were Backstrom , Gang Related , Gracepoint , Mulaney , Red Band Society , Utopia and Weird Loners . The upcoming season has some real gems, let's just hope that FOX actually keeps a few around. Bordertown – Release Date TBD Plot: A new animated comedy about two families living in a Southwest desert town on the U.S. - Mexico border. It takes a satirical look at the cultural shifts occurring in America, where the U.S. Census forecasts that by 2017, ethnic minorities will become the majority. Network Pilot Season Has Begun

The Big 5 deciding what they expect us to watch this fall. By Brandon Wolfe Pilot season has commenced as the networks have begun their first round of pickups. NBC has ordered the dramas The Player , Chicago Med , Blindspot and Heartbreaker to series. Also in contention are Warrior , Game of Silence , The Curse of the Fuentes Women and Love Is a Four Letter Word . Already ordered are Telenovela starring Eva Longoria and, yet one more pointless reboot, Coach . Fox will be adding its television adapt

Story by David Clark For all of my fellow movie and science fiction fans out there the buzz coming from Fox regarding new pilots could be both exciting and terrifying. Most striking on the upcoming programming schedules is a listing for a movie to television adaptation of the 2002 science fiction thriller starring Tom Cruise that will pick up in the same universe a short time after the movie ended. At first glance this sounds great. If you have felt like television has been missing a staple science fiction series over the past few years, you might not be the only one. There was a golden age in television when shows like: Star Trek , Battlestar Galactica , V , X-files , and Stargate (s) dominated science fiction programming. Even in modern times there have been popular, if not polarizing, shows like Doctor Who and Fringe that have knocked out their own place in the hearts of modern science fiction fans. Hopefully
