Mary McMormack has signed on to the thriller “ The Conspiracy on Jekyll Island ” starring F rank Grillo, Minnie Driver and Dianna Agron . Pic also stars Maggie Q, John Leguizamo and Ed Westwick with Aram Rappaport directing. Story follows an ex-Wall Street man, played by Grillo , whom the Secretary of the Treasury enlists to thwart a cyber attack that threatens to derail the American economy. There are two Blackbirds currently vying for your attention. One is a Hitchcockian conspiracy thriller directed by David Mamet and starring Cate Blanchett . The movie, being produced by Paul Jaconi-Biery and Hanish, begins shooting in Los Angeles this week. Inspired by true events, the drama follows a couple (Driver, Adelstein) whose love disintegrates when they discover their baby has died in the womb.
