Set in both the late 80's and current day, " Back in the Day " is a gritty tale about Anthony Rodriguez ( William DeMeo ), a half Italian - half Puerto Rican teenager growing up on the streets of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, then a racist neighborhood filled with bullies, big shots and social clubs where all of the neighborhood shots were called. Meet the Blacks was film directed by Deon Taylor and written by Deon Taylor and Nicole DeMasi. The film stars Mike Epps, Gary Owen, Zulay Henao, Lil Duval, Bresha Webb, George Lopez and Mike Tyson . The Black family is getting out of Chicago in hopes of a better life. After Carl Black ( Mike Epps ) comes into some unexpected funds, he takes his family and leaves the hustling lifestyle behind for something better. Carl, his new wife Lorena ( Zulay Henao ), son Carl Jr., daughter Allie Black ( Bresha Webb ) and cousin Cronut ( Lil Duval ) pack up and move to Beverly Hills. Turns out, Carl couldn't have picked a worse time to move. They arrive right around the time of the annual purge, when all crime is legal for twelve hours. HBO Orders "Da Brick" From Spike Lee

HBO is stepping into the the boxing ring with Mike Tyson , Spike Lee and Doug Ellin . The premium cable network has ordered a pilot for Da Brick , a boxing drama project loosely based on former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson’s early life in the ring. The project hails from Tyson, along with Lee, L.A. Riots' John Ridley, Entourage creator Ellin and his producing partner Jim Lefkowitz. Lee is set to direct with Ridley on board to write and serve as showrunner. It will be set in Newark, N.J., which is often dubbed "Brick City." Much as Entourage was inspired by producer Mark Wahlberg's life, Da Brick will reflect aspects of Tyson's upbringing. It marks the latest in a string of Hollywood projects for Tyson, who has turned up in the Hangover franchise as well as Animal Planet's Taking on Tyson. Mike Tyson Detained At Airport Iron Mike Tyson In Trouble Again. Former boxing champ Mike Tyson was detained by police at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday afternoon while they investigated a scuffle between the former boxing champ and a photographer, police said. Tyson, 43, was taken into custody by airport police after an incident at the United Airlines ticket counter at about 4:30 p.m., according to police Sgt. Jim Holcomb. The photographer, who was following Tyson, fell to the floor after one punch from Tyson, Holcomb told CNN TV affiliate KABC. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a cut to his forehead suffered when he hit the floor, Holcomb said. Tyson and the photographer each told police they wanted to file battery charges against the other, he said. Tyson was put in a holding cell at the airport police station during the investigation, he said.
