Summit Gets Their Hand On "Drive Angry" Summit Entertainment has picked up the North American distribution to the Nicolas Cage revenge movie "Drive Angry," setting a release date of February 11, 2011. The move keeps the company in the Cage business, which has been a successful one for the company. Summit was behind "Knowing," which grossed almost $80 million domestically when it was released in March and $183 million worldwide. "Angry," which is now in pre-production, centers on a man (Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control, as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway. The project, which will be in 3-D, is being directed by Patrick Lussier ("My Bloody Valentine") from a screenplay penned by Lussier and Todd Farmer. Michael De Luca is producing via his Michael De Luca Productions banner along with Adam Fiel
