Jeffrey Dean Morgan has more recently been known for swaggering, slaughtering and, er, scarf-wearing? as the violent leader Negan on The Walking Dead . But he'll be leaving the barbed wire baseball bat at home when he joins Dwayne Johnson in Rampage . While New Line has yet to release an official synopsis, the movie's video game origins point to what we can expect: Johnson's animal-loving hero must help save cities from rampaging giant creatures (a lizard, a gorilla and wolf) that have been cooked up in a less-than ethical laboratory. Morgan has nabbed a supporting role as Agent Russell, who works for covert government outfit OGA and apparently has some attitude. Will he be a help or a hindrance? That's for the film to decide.
