It was a slooooow weekend at the US box office, with little in the way of truly notable wide releases. Which might go some way to explaining why The Hitman's Bodyguard stayed top of the charts. The Ryan Reynolds/Samuel L. Jackson action caper added $10 million, according to studio estimates. That means the film has thus far earned $39.6 million in the States, and clung to its place for a second week. Annabelle: Creation also stayed where it was in second, bringing in $7.3 million. The first of this week's main new arrivals was animated ballet pic Leap! , which landed third on $5 million. It beat Wind River , which increased its screen count and jumped up the top 10 to fourth with $4.4 million. Rounding out the top five we find Logan Lucky , down from third with $4.3 million.
