Walt Disney Animation Studios unveiled the first look at warrior Raya and her trusty steed Tuk Tuk, from the upcoming “ Raya and the Last Dragon .” It was also revealed that Kelly Marie Tran will voice Raya, joining Awkwafina as the voice of the dragon, Sisu. Kelly Marie Tran's 'Rose' From Star Wars: The Last Jedi

She's described as something of an everywoman, one who works in maintenance for the Resistance, but who will come to play a much bigger role than she suspects. "This possibility that any of us could step up and become a hero, that’s where Rose comes from," Last Jedi director Rian Johnson told the crowd at Star Wars Celebration. "She’s not a soldier, she’s not looking to be a hero. But she gets pulled into a very big adventure with Finn." Given their shared background in less-than-thrilling heroics earlier in their lives (Finn, don't forget, was a low-ranking Storm Trooper in the First Order), you can see why they might get on. This looks set to launch Tran into the sort of sudden fame experienced by Ridley and Boyega, and before them, the likes of Mark Hamill. She's taken her first step into a larger world...
