Relativity Media announced today that it will release House at the End of the Stree t, starring Oscar®-nominee Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone), Oscar®-nominee Elisabeth Shue (Leaving Las Vegas) and Max Theriot (My Soul to Take) on February 3, 2012. Directed by Mark Tonderai (Hush) and written by David Loucka (Dream House), House centers on a teen girl (Lawrence) who moves with her mom to a new town and learns that their home is next door to a house where a double murder took place. Complications ensue when the teen befriends the massacre's sole surviving son (Thieriot). Shue costars as Lawrence's mom. The FilmNation Entertainment and A Bigger Boat film is produced by FilmNation Entertainment’s Aaron Ryder (The Prestige), A Bigger Boat’s Peter Block (Saw franchise), and Hal Lieberman (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines).
