Stephen Amell Says He's Done With The Arrow Suit

We analyze Amell's comment and the revelation after the jump. WARNING: This story contains spoilers. Story by Matt Cummings As the CW's Arrow bowed out last week to end Season 3, a ton of questions were raised about what lies in store for Season 4, some of them causing quite the stir on the Interwebs. For one, the episode - titled, My Name is Oliver Queen - showed The Arrow (Stephen Amell) walking away from both the title of Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins as well as his hero persona. The episode felt like a series finale, as Queen/Arrow/the former Ras drove off into the sunset with long-time friend/now lover Felicity Smoke (Emily Bett Rickards). But questions remain. We know Arrow is returning next year with Amell, and with Damien Dahrk poised as the next bad guy Queen will take on, it shouldn't be too long before we see Oliver put on the green suit once again. But in doing so, that could undo all of the events of Season 3, in which t...

First Look At Katie Cassidy As The Black Canary

Laurel may be suiting up in a new Black Canary costume, but Arrow fans be warned: The novice is far from being a hero. Driven by revenge, Laurel ( Katie Cassidy ) has been desperate to take up the mantle of the Black Canary following the death of her sister Sara ( Caity Lotz ), inching her closer and closer to fulfilling her comic book destiny—something fans of the graphic novels have been eagerly awaiting since the show’s inception. But she may be putting the cart before the horse when she finally suits up. “Just because you put on a mask and a costume doesn’t mean you’re a superhero,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells EW. “A mask does not a hero make. We’re really at the beginning of Laurel’s journey to becoming the Black Canary, not the end by virtue of the fact that she’s put on a costume.” Therefore, when Laurel does finally go out to fight crime, “It’s not like Arrow [ Stephen Amell ], Arsenal [ Colton Haynes ] or Diggle [ David Ramsey ] going out into the field,...

"Do you like Italian?" he asks innocently while racing through an abandoned backstreet on his bike. "Oliver, you're in the middle of a high-speed chase," Felicity says, slightly taken aback. Oliver's response? "I'm multitasking." In another moment, Oliver — lightening up a little — takes an early leave after some late-night crime-fighting only to have Quentin Lance ( Paul Blackthorne ) drop in this gem: "Do you have a hot date or something?" As the trailer — set to Death From Above 1979's "Trainwreck 1979" — suggests, it's a new day in Starling City in season three. Diggle ( David Ramsey ) puts it best when he says there are two ty...
