It grossed far below its $50 million budget, and fans worried that the franchise would suffer another long sleep before being recast. Fortunately, people still buy DVD's, and the film became an instant hit, achieving a sort of cult status with fans and newcomers (yours truly included). Luckily, its performance in the home market - coupled with a great petition campaign - renewed hope that a sequel might be in the works. And while that progress appears to be slow, Dredd star Karl Urban has released a video that tells a lot about where the project is headed.
