BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Magnolia Pictures 'LUCKY' Trailer

LUCKY follows the spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist and the quirky characters that inhabit his off the map desert town. Having out lived and out smoked all of his contemporaries, the fiercely independent Lucky finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self exploration, leading towards that which is so often unattainable: enlightenment. Acclaimed character actor John Carroll Lynch’s directorial debut “Lucky”, is at once a love letter to the life and career of Harry Dean Stanton as well as a meditation on morality, loneliness, spirituality, and human connection. All-Star Cast Added To #TwinPeaks

While he has been shooting, David Lynch has tried to keep details of the cast for the Twin Peaks revival under wraps. But set sightings, leaks and the usual 'net-based flow of information revealed such names as Naomi Watts, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Amanda Seyfried and Ashley Judd aboard. Now we know exactly who will be in the new show, as a huge list of 217 names has officially arrived online. To list them all would require several hours, so here are just a few, including Tim Roth, Monica Bellucci, Michael Cera, Jim Belushi, Josh McDermitt, Francesca Eastwood, John Billingsley, Ernie Hudson , and some more surprising folk, including Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and NIN's Trent Reznor . They all join the returning likes of Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn and Ray Wise . Please Leave A Comment- Source- Empire

Peter Sarsgaard Joins #TwinPeaks

While David Lynch and co-creator Mark Frost have tried to keep details of their Twin Peaks revival more under wraps than the location of the Black Lodge, little snippets of casting info keep leaking. TV Line reports that Peter Sarsgaard has taken a recurring role in the show. Exactly what that shape the new series' ensemble is taking (and how Sarsgaard will fit into it) is still largely a mystery, but we do know that Kyle MacLachlan is confirmed as returning as Agent Dale Cooper, while Ray Wise, Sheryl Lee and Sherilyn Fenn are all apparently returning and Amanda Seyfried, Robert Knepper and Balthazar Getty are among the new additions. Lynch and co-creator Mark Frost are shooting the series now in Washington state, with 18 episodes planned for the Showtime cable network at some point in 2017. And to keep everyone intrigued, the channel has put out a tiny teaser, featuring footage of Michael J. Anderson’s Man From Another Place dancing in the Red Room, though the footage

Kyle MacLachlan Will Return To Twin Peaks

There was much genuine excitement when David Lynch , co-creator Mark Frost and US cable network Showtime put rumors to rest by confirming that mystery series Twin Peaks would be back on our screens in 2016. One element that was still not set in stone was the return of the show’s anchor, leading man Kyle MacLachlan , as FBI Agent Dale Cooper. Now we know for sure that he’s back. With Showtime boss David Nevins attending the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour, he was briefly joined on stage by MacLachlan, who emerged from backstage wearing a natty suit and bearing a mug, which contained Cooper’s now-trademark beverage request of “damn fine coffee. And hot.” Lynch also tweeted an image of MacLachlan in his suit. "I'm very excited to return to the strange and wonderful world of Twin Peaks," MacLachlan told the TV critics. "We look forward to seeing all of you there. May the forest be with you.” Nevins admitted that he had to convince Lynch and Fro

#TwinPeaks Returning To Showtime In 2016

David Lynch and co-creator Mark Frost have announced that Twin Peaks is to return to the small screen 25 years after it left the air. Announced via a typically unusual video from the pair, the show will screen on US cable network Showtime in 2016. According to Deadline , the new series will be set in the present day, two decades after the events of the original, but is intended to continue all the lore and story. Lynch and Frost are hard at work on the scripts, with nine episodes planned for the first run, all directed by Lynch. The original series followed the inhabitants of a quaint town in Washington State who were stunned after young Laura Palmer is shockingly murdered. The town’s sheriff welcomed the help of FBI Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan), who arrived to investigate the case by not always conventional means. As Cooper conducted his search for Laura’s killer, the town’s secrets were gradually uncovered. A prequel feature film, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, follow

David Lynch Turned Down Return Of The Jedi. I Had No Interest

David Lynch Turned Down Return Of The Jedi. I Had No Interest There's a bit of little-known Star Wars trivia that George Lucas once asked David Lynch to direct the third movie in the trilogy, Return of the Jedi, but I don't think we've ever heard Lynch himself describe his meeting and why he turned it down in quite this way. Until now, in the video below. At a seminar last month at New York's Russian Tea Room, sponsored by the Hudson Union Society, the director of Eraserhead and Mulholland Drive talked about the James Bond-like arrangements he had to make to meet with Lucas, how he reacted when he saw a Wookiee for the first time and why Lucas shouldn't be driving a Ferrari. "George is kinda short, and so ... his seat was way back, and he was almost lying down in the car, and we were flying through this little town in Northern California," Lynch said. "I had next door to zero interest," Lynch says at one point, adding later: "I could hardly
