BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Joe Carnahan In Talks to Direct Bad Boys 3

Buddy-cop threequel is what Joe’s gonna do. By Brandon Wolfe Bad Boys is essentially the Before Sunrise of action-comedy franchises, given the unusual length of time between each installment. The original came out a whopping 20 years ago. Its sequel followed eight years after that. And now, after all this time, a third film is just now starting to come together. A script has been written by David Guggenheim, who wrote Safe House , and Sacramento’s own Joe Carnahan, director of The Grey , is in talks to direct. The sequel hopes to reunite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Sony intends to push the project very quickly into development so that it could potentially fill the slot Smith will have open immediately following the currently-shooting Suicide Squad . Michael Bay, director of the previous two films, looks to sit this one out, which can only be a good thing. Discuss this story with fellow SJF fans on Facebook . On Twitter, f

Denzel Washington To Star In Safe House

Denzel Washington To Find A "Safe House" Denzel Washington is in negotiations to star in the Universal action thriller “ Safe House ,” written by David Guggenheim. Guggenheim’s original spy thriller was snatched up by Universal in a heated bidding environment back in February, and Washington’s name has recently been circulating as a go-to lead for the role of a dangerous prisoner being escorted through mencaing territory by a young CIA agent. “Snabba Cash” director Daniel Espinosa is helming. Scott Stuber is producing. The storyline follows the only surviving agent of an attack on a CIA safe house as he tries to get a lethal prisoner to a second safe house before being taken out by violent forces that want them both dead. "Safe House" would put Washington on familiar action ground, if on the bad-guy side of the dynamic that won him an Oscar for "Training Day" in 2001. Please Leave A Comment- Source- riskybusiness
