BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Ruby Rose As Batwoman First Look

Ever since Arrow debuted in 2013, American network the CW has cultivated an ever-growing inter-connected roster of small-screen superheroes that also takes in the likes of The Flash, Supergirl, John Constantine and the Legends of Tomorrow . Its latest addition is Batwoman , with Ruby Rose (of John Wick: Chapter Two and The Meg fame) suiting up for the role. And speaking of suiting up, The Hollywood Reporter has shared the first image of her as Kate Kane in the cowl and cape. Rose is set to make her first appearance as Kane in upcoming Arrow-verse crossover event ‘ Elseworlds ’, which will begin later in the current Season 7 of Arrow on 9 December, and continue through The Flash and Supergirl. Once established, Batwoman will receive her own standalone series overseen by Greg Berlanti, and scripted by Caroline Dries. Kane is Bruce Wayne’s cousin with a tragic backstory of her own – her mother and twin sister were killed when she was 12, and she was later kicked out of the milita

Soundtrack Review: 'Legends of Tomorrow: Season 1'

Like the series, Legends of Tomorrow: Season 1 Original Television Soundtrack sets a course for superhero time-traveling kick ass. Review by Matt Cummings CW's superhero shows have become a M-TH staple in my DVR. Whether it's the speed and quick wit of The Flash , the gritty Star City vigilantes of Arrow , or the newest arrival of Supergirl , CW has hit creative gold by assembling this team. Perhaps at the top of these was the surprise hit DC's Legends of Tomorrow , a time-traveling epic featuring several characters culled from Arrow and The Flash . The completely original series from Producer Greg Berlanti sported impressive special effects, more witty banter than three people can stand, and of course a solidly entertaining score from Composer Blake Neely. The bold and unapologetic Legends of Tomorrow: Season 1 Original Television Soundtrack arrives full of superhero kick ass and ready to take the throne as Neely's best so far. The time-traveling Capt

Constantine's Matt Ryan Set to Appear on 'Arrow'

The announcement most likely comes after strong Twitter support for Ryan's return. Story by Matt Cummings Is it possible that the Internet is once in awhile a force for good? When NBC pulled the plug last season on its rookie effort Constantine , there was an almost instant cry from fans: get him into another DC show as soon as possible. The problem was where would he land and for how long would he be around. Both questions were answered on Tuesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, when it was announced that Actor Matt Ryan would reprise his role as John Constantine in one episode of season four of The CW's Arrow . Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim more than likely is now a fanboy fave when he said the following about Ryan's return: "We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of Arrow," said. "Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved ch

Fall 2015 Television Preview: The CW

We continue our look at the upcoming Fall television season by focusing on The CW's offerings. Story by Sue Lukenbaugh Like the other big networks, the CW cancelled a couple shows, and announced a few upcoming shows. Getting the ax was Heart Of Dixie and The Messengers . The CW expands their Superhero roster, can they just transition to being all superheroes all the time? Only one of their upcoming shows will show up during the fall, the other two will debut early 2016. Containment – Release Date TBD Plot: When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives. Julie Plec, the creator of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals brings you Containment, coming soon to The CW. My Verdict: This is very different from anything else on the CW. As an outbreak show, it doesn't have much longevity in it, but I can see it being something like a pre-Walking Dead an

Story by Matt Cummings Now that CW's Arrow and The Flash have released their finales, it's time to look at another superhero series debuting on the network next Fall. And just like Warner Bros' movie adaptation of the team up Suicide Squad, this one's got a lot of familiar faces. The Atom (Brandon Routh), FIRESTORM (Robbie Amell), Hawkgirl (Kendra Saunders), White Canary (Kaity Lotz), and villain Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller).
