BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

New Wrath Of The Titans Trailer

The first trailer for myth-raiding sequel Wrath Of The Titans arrived back in December, but now a slightly longer destruct-o-fest has hit the magical interwebs. If you are righteous and brave, take a look below. Liam Neeson Interview Part 1 talks Wrath Of The Titans- This time around, we find Perseus ( Sam Worthington ) 10 years on from his adventures opposite giant beasties in Clash. Trying to live a normal but probably slightly smelly life as a fisherman, he’s summoned back into action when mighty Titan Kronos begins to break his troops out of imprisonment and threatens Zeus ( Liam Neeson ) and co. But because the Gods can’t deal with these pesky problems themselves, and because Hades ( Ralph Fiennes ) is stirring up yet more trouble, guess who has to step in? Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) is behind the camera and, if the trailers are any indication, he and Warners have simply taken everything about the first movie and cranked it up a notch, including Worthington’s

WRATH OF THE TITANS Just Plain Bad

Warner Bros. has delivered the first trailer for WRATH OF THE TITANS which is the sequel to Clash Of The Titans and looks as bad. The film stars Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramiez, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell and Rosamund Pike . A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus ( Worthington ) –the demigod son of Zeus ( Neeson )–is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades ( Fiennes ) and Poseidon ( Danny Huston ). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Please Leave A Com

Clash Of The Titans 3. Can We Wait Until We See Wrath of the Titans

Titans will clash for the third time, if Warner Bros. has its way. The studio, which is in post-production with Legendary Pictures on Clash of the Titans sequel Wrath of the Titans , is developing the next installment of the tales inspired by the Greek myths, even though Wrath doesn’t open until March 30, 2012. Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson, who co-wrote Wrath’s screenplay with Steven Knight and also share story credit with Greg Berlanti, have been enlisted to develop and write a treatment for the threequel, which would continue the adventures of Perseus, played by Sam Worthington . Wrath again reunites not only Worthington but Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Danny Huston as Greek gods, and throws in actors Edgar Ramirez, Rosamund Pike and Bill Nighy among others. Insiders say that Agenor, a sidekick-like character played by Toby Kebbell, may also figure into the new story, as the second movie leaves the door open for the character’s return. The producing team behin

Liam Neeson Will Return For Taken 2

Liam Neeson and Luc Besson have come to a meeting of the minds and they have worked out the scheduling snafu that made him iffy for Taken 2 . They are now closing the deal for Neeson to reprise what has become a signature role. Production is now being eyed for year end or beginning of 2012. Neeson will stick to his plan to take the rest of the year off, after completing the Clash of the Titans sequel he's shooting in London. He has been working almost nonstop, wrapping The Grey for Joe Carnahan and Battleship for Peter Berg. A fascinating drama has been playing out over the past few weeks on Taken 2, the sequel to the surprise global hit film hatched by Luc Besson that reinvigorated Liam Neeson. I'm told Besson has teamed on a script with Robert Mark Kamen, and that he's in talks with his Transporter 3 director Olivier Megaton to direct the sequel. But he has been dealing with a huge problem: Neeson has all but withdrawn from reprising his role as Bryan Mills, the re

Worst 2010 Films

Can You Do Better? If you have a Best list you gotta have a worst list right? I'm sure we all went into these movies hoping for more then we got, and wishing we could get a refund for sitting though such bad movies. The films come from every genre of films from horrible sequels, awful remakes and just bad movies that should have NEVER been made. If I missed any please go right ahead and add it to the list. Read my list after the Jump.. 12. Clash of the Titans Clash of the Titans is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name, the story is very loosely based upon the Greek myth of Perseus. Directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Sam Worthington. 11. SEX AND THE CITY 2 Sex and the City 2 (also known as SATC2) is the sequel to the 2008 film Sex and the City, which is based on the HBO TV series of the same name. 10. Nightmare on Elm Street A Nightmare on Elm Street is a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 film of the same name; produced by Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes, i

Top 10 Films Of 2010

There Are Some Surprises With the year coming close to the end we thought we would wrap up the Top Ten films of 2010 . The list ranges from A toy in a box to sexy vampires, a boy wizard, a green ogre and even a titan if you can believe that.  I was surprised to see some of the box office totals for these film. Check out the list after the Jump.. 1.Toy Story 3 The Pixar threequel, shot in 3D, grossed $1.1 billion at the box office . Domestically, it grossed a handy $415 million. The news overseas was even better, where Toy Story 3 grossed $648.1 million. Not bad for a franchise that took a decade-long hiatus. The extra charge for a 3D ticket no doubt boosted the bottom line for Pixar and Disney. 2. Alice in Wonderland In the months leading up to the release of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, there was rampant speculation about whether audiences would embrace Tim Burton’s retelling of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. The movie became a hit, and had impressive playability. Domestic

Liam Neeson To Return To Clash Of The Titans 2

Zeus To Return and Title Revealed for Clash Of The Titans 2 Liam Neeson is set to return along with Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, and   Ralph Fiennes to star in Clash Of The Titans 2 Wrath Of The Titans . The first film did nothing for me at all. But we did hear some good news for you fans of the film. Producer Basil Iwanyk previously said the sequel will be shot in 3D,He also said some of the gods will be back and there are going to be 3 new key roles that are probably going to be played by big stars… Liam Neeson has promised the Clash Of The Titans sequel will have some action-packed scenes. The Irish actor will reprise his role as Greek god Zeus in the eagerly anticipated follow-up, Wrath Of The Titans, and is excited about it. "I've only read half of the script and there is still some work being done - they're on script 10 - but I think it's going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it," he said. Liam, who was honoured with th

Jonathan Liebesman “Clash of the Titans” Sequel

Jonathan Liebesman Confirmed For “Clash of the Titans” Sequel Jonathan Liebesman has signed a deal to direct a sequel to “Clash of the Titans” for Warner Bros. and Legendary. Liebesman had been in contention to nab the directing gig since early June, with negotiations stretching through the summer. Money was a factor, as was the hurdle of overcoming the negative perception of this year's initial installment. The movie, a remake of the 1981 original, became a worldwide hit for Warners, grossing more than $491 million, although it garnered many negative reviews. The studio is hoping to right the wrongs, shooting it in 3D (as opposed to have it added during postproduction, as with the first movie) and tapping some of its top scribes to work on it. Greg Berlanti, one of the writers of “Green Lantern,” Dan Mazeau, who worked for Warners on “The Flash” and “Jonny Quest,” and David Leslie Johnson, writer of “Red Riding Hood,” the studio’s horror thriller starring Amanda Seyfried,

Clash Of The Titans And Harry Potter Films To Be In 3D

Clash Of The Titans And Harry Potter Films To Be In 3D Warner Brothers with Legendary Films made official just now what everybody in Hollywood already knew: its upcoming slate will be filled with 3D titles. Its feature film Clash of the Titans will be released in 3D worldwide and simultaneously in 2D on Easter Weekend April 2nd. (Which prompted several studios to hastily move release dates so as not to compete.) Doing the visual effects work will be Prime Focus, which received an Oscar nod today for Avatar. Additional titles in 2010 that will be released in 3D (in addition to 2D) include Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (July), Guardians of Ga’Hoole (September), and Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows, Part 1 (November) -- and I'm told Part II as well at a later date Said Dan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros Pictures, in the announcement “We are experienced and have been successful in the conversion of 2D to 3D going back to such hits as The Polar Exp

Clash of the Titans To Be In 3D

Clash of the Titans To Be In 3D Warner Bros. will decide in the next 10 days whether to release Louis Leterrier’s remake of action fantasy “Clash of the Titans” in 3D. Warners has ordered a 3D test of the film — set for release on March 26 -- and will screen the converted scenes next week before deciding whether to make the move. Studios across Hollywood are looking into possible 3D conversions in the aftermath of the big boxoffice bonanza called “Avatar.” With conversions, 2D films -- whether newly produced movies or classic titles slotted for release, such as the first two “Toy Story” pics -- are run through a process that turns 2D images into 3D. Most 3D movies, including “Avatar,” are shot in 3D from the start. Co-produced by Legendary Pictures, “Titans” is a re-imagining of a 1981 film that starred Laurence Olivier in the character of Zeus. The role is played by Liam Neeson in the remake, appearing opposing Sam Worthington’s Perseus in the mythology-based actioner. Releasing “Tit

'Clash of the Titans' Film Complete. Only In A Fairy Tale

'Clash of the Titans' Film Complete. Only In A Fairy Tale "Clash of the Titans" is getting more epic -- and perhaps 3-D. I talked to Sam Worthington backstage last night at The Envelope's special screening of "Avatar" and the subject turned to "Clash of the Titans," the fantasy adventure due in March from director Louis Leterrier, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. The 33-year-old actor said that Warners, pleased with what they saw of Leterrier's work, had increased the budget for the film. "We're going to be going back and shooting more scenes for it, they cut loose with some money so we can add to it," Worthington told me as we sat in the green room. He was obviously very enthused about the studio's decision. Sigourney Weaver, Worthington's costar in "Avatar" and a friend of Leterrier's, was sitting next to us and listening in as well. Worthington went on: "We're going to be shooting more scen
