Disney has delivered the first image from the Toy Story short tilted Hawaiian Vacation that will be featured be Cars 2 . this weekend. Set in new owner Bonnie’s bedroom, “ Toy Story Toons: Hawaiian Vacation ” features Woody (voice of Tom Hanks ) and Buzz (voice of Tim Allen ) and the rest of the favorite “ Toy Story 3 ” toys as they create the ultimate Hawaiian vacation for Ken (voice of Michael Keaton ) and Barbie (voice of Jodi Benson ). This weekend at the San Francisco WonderCon, Disney•Pixar debuted a new viral for Cars 2 in the form of a car parked outside the Moscone Center that featured the Twitter handle @ChromeLeaks . Toy Story Characters To Return In Cars 2 I know many of you out there will be going to see Toy Story 3 this weekend and thought of never seeing the toys on the big screen again after Toy Story 3. We have an updated from Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich revealed in an interview and on Twitter that there will be a new short film with the characters of Toy Story attached to Cars 2 , in theatres June 24 next summer. "We’re going to keep [the characters] alive; they’re not going away forever," says Unkrich in the MSN Movies interview. This will undoubtedly be one of the new Toy Story Toons produced at Pixar Canada in Vancouver and will probably play in addition to the regular theatrical short we've come to expect. Pixar's Cars 2 Delayed Till End Of 2011 Sorry all you Cars fans looks like the film is being pushed back till December of 2011. During Walt Disney Company's first quarter 2010 earnings call on Tuesday, company President and CEO Bob Iger mentioned that Disney•Pixar's Cars 2 will be released in theaters in December of 2011. The film was previously scheduled for a release on June 24, 2011 and this move would leave that release slot empty for now. Warner Bros. Pictures is releasing Green Lantern on June 17, 2011 and Michael Bay's Transformers 3 is targeted for a July 1, 2011 release. We're guessing another movie will quickly jump to June 24 spot, although Paramount moved up Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to a Tuesday night/Wednesday release in 2009, so that is another possibility for the third film. First up is a race in Tokyo, starting at Mount Fuji and heading downtown; then there's a German race through the Black Forest; then "Porto Corsa" in Italy, which is based partly on the Monte Carlo Grand Prix; then a 24-hour race around Paris (so somewhat like Le Mans then) and finally a thrilling climax in London, approaching Buckingham Palace (where the guards appear to be Land Rovers).
