ACTRESS JOEY KING LANDS LEAD IN ‘ WISH UPON ’ DIRECTED BY JOHN LEONETTI FOR BROAD GREEN PICTURES. Broad Green Pictures announced today that Joey King (The Conjuring, “Fargo”) has signed on to play the lead in the studio’s horror thriller Wish Upon, which will be directed by John Leonetti (Annabelle). The movie is being produced by Busted Shark Production’s Sherryl Clark (Viral, Cloverfield) and was written by Barbara Marshall (“The Listener”). Production is expected to begin in the fall. However, there's not much else in the way of details. There's no word on who has penned the script, or who will be directing.
